Okay, y’all — this week’s New Music Friday takes us everywhere from a cabin in Northern Ontario to a rodeo arena, a sawdust dance floor and a Y2K pop party.
We have timeless singer-songwriter music, a Top 5 release of the year contender, our favorite cowboy back with a new album, songs made for radio and a few artists who are about to become your newest obsession. This one is all over the map in the very best way. Let’s get into it!
If you don’t know Sam Drysdale, I am honored to be the first to introduce you to this incredible artist!
If you love Ray LaMontagne, Noah Kahan, and John Mayer, Sam Drysdale is for you. This album had my heart from the first few notes of “A Place.” You’re immediately transported to a cabin with a fire burning…and it turns out a cabin in Northern Ontario is exactly where this perfect collection of songs came to life.
I can’t even pick a favorite because every single song, but if you absolutely made me pick just one, it has to be “Cold Water.” The last time I latched on to an album in this way was John Mayer “Paradise Valley” – and y’all know how I feel about John Mayer. Sam, congratulations on a perfect piece of work! This one is timeless, and I will love this album forever and ever amen.

Oh. My. Gosh!!!!! Well, y’all, we better remember where we were when we first heard the name Regan Rousseau.
If you like Kelsea Ballerini, Kacey Musgraves, Ella Langley, Gracie Abrams, and Tate McRae, this one is for you.
This is a Top 5 Pick for me for 2026 new releases – and I take that seriously. Regan, we have to have you on the show ASAP!
Our favorite cowboy has a new album, and it has everything a good country western album should have – drinking songs, lying songs, love songs, and rodeo songs.
“It’s My Lie” and “Feelin’ Something New” have been on my playlist for a few months now, but my favorite out of these new tracks we got today is “Gypsy Wind.”
Chancey is stopping by the studio in a couple of weeks. I can’t wait to catch up on the tour, the roper competitions, and get his hot takes on NFR! See you soon, Chancey!

This one is ready for radio. If you like Koe Wetzel, Chase Matthew, and HARDY, you’ll feel right at home with this song.
It takes you back to a simpler time when it didn’t take much to feel like all was right in the world – a tailgate, a church offering plate, and time spent with good friends.
Ginn decided to celebrate the release of this album by throwing a party at Odie’s and raising money for Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue.
That’s just the kind of pop princess she is! This album is Y2K pop meets Olivia Dean. It feels like a nod to Christina Aguilera while still being completely its own sound.
If you see me walking around Centennial Park with a little more dance and pep in my step, it’s probably because I’m listening to Ginn.

We all fell in love with Mack earlier this year with his breakout hit “String By.”
Well, he’s done it again, y’all. Someone find me a sawdust floor and a dance partner – this one will make anyone want to fall in love with a stranger and find out how it ends.
Chris Stapleton and Luke Combs are known for the way they pull you in with lyrics, strong vocals, and a gift for entertaining.
I’m adding Tyler Braden to that list. Tyler has Stapleton-level vocals and Luke Combs-level delivery. Tyler’s powerhouse vocals and the raw emotion of this song will have you hitting repeat while you go straight to his Instagram page to find out when you can see him live.
Nashville – for us that means grabbing Opry tickets as fast as we can to see Tyler on the Opry stage on December 7th.

Which one are you playing first?
Let me know over on Instagram or Facebook—and don’t forget to send me the new releases you think deserve a spot on next week’s list.
Happy New Music Friday, y’all!
