Tyra Madison isn’t trying to fit the mold, and that’s exactly the point.

Behind the glam, the bangs, and the “Bratz Country” nickname is an artist who’s perfectly happy being a little messy, a little loud, and completely herself… and honestly, we could all use a little more of that.

In this “Around Town” episode — recorded at JBJ’s Nashville, Jon Bon Jovi’s bar on Broadway — Tyra opens up about the stories behind “Judge Judy” and “Bratz Country.” And save time for the end because things get absolutely hilarious as she teaches Amanda the “Judge Judy” line dance and takes on the mechanical bull.

We talk about:

The story behind “Bratz Country”
Why “Judge Judy” became one of her most talked-about songs
Turning heartbreak into songwriting
Learning to care less about fitting in
Amanda attempting the “Judge Judy” line dance
Tyra’s favorite Nashville spots

If you already follow Tyra, this episode will make you love her even more. If you don’t, you’re about to find out why so many people do.
